Minecraft Heading out of Beta
October 11th, 2011For those of you who still haven’t picked up a copy of Minecraft (all 3 of you) you may want to do so sooner rather than later. Notch, the creator of Minecraft has just announced that the up-coming 1.9 “adventure update” that is due to be released live on stage at MineCon may actually not just be 1.9, but in face be “Minecraft”. That’s no Alpha, no Beta… just Minecraft.
Since the price increased when Minecraft left Alpha I would also assume it will do the same once it’s out of Beta. I believe I paid £5 or something for my copy a long time ago and it’s currently £13.95 so if it goes up again then we’re getting into the realms of a AAA game so probably worth getting it now.
